Berks Opera Workshop and the Fall Festival of the Arts collaborate again, with a production of Carlisle Floyd’s masterpiece, one of the most important and beautiful modern operas, laced with Appalachian folk songs, hymns and
full-blooded operatic melodies.

CANTATICA presents Viva Musica!
A Celebration of Latin American Music

A truly unique and engaging chamber ensemble, CANTATICA brings to the Fall Festival of the Arts a wonderful array of Latin American music— classical, contemporary, folk and popular. Music from Cuba, Mexico, South America and the United States performed by chamber choir, solo voices, flute, strings, piano and percussion.

James Joyce's "The Dead"

The Fall Festival of the Arts is proud to present the Tony Award winning musical, The Dead, an adaptation of James Joyce’s gorgeous and compelling short story, directed by John Gancar. During a convivial celebration of Epiphany, the vividly drawn characters find their own epiphanies of their mortality and of the difficulties of truly knowing even those who are closest to us.

Diane Meredith Belcher
Organ Recital

Internationally renowned, Philadelphia native, Diane Meredith Belcher is in great demand both at home and abroad. A graduate of The Curtis Institute of Music and The Eastman School of Music, she has performed in concert throughout the US, Canada and Europe, and is herself a composer.
